The early years of website design.
From the dawn of time, or should I say the dawn of the WEB, website design has been a ever changing frontier. Early pages were built with tables consisting of data put inside of boxes. Blinking lights, Tacky text fonts and colors were running wild. Websites during the early years were, for lake of a better word, Horrific. Until one day the growing community of web designers made a set of the deadly sins, and web standards. As coding became more complex, different types of code were understood by browsers: such as CSS, PHP, HTML. Now days websites are beautiful works of art, some more complex than others. While yesterdays websites were filled with as much junk as possible to make them unique, today’s websites focus on simplicity, functionality, and user friendliness.
